The bearings look great (likely recent replacements). I'm going with slotted TRW rotors to see if there is any improvement, though the brakes worked great even as the pads were low. Does anyone have a local supplier of the dust caps (both the outer cap and the inner bearing cap)? I've already ordered the main replacement parts and probably should have taken everything apart first to limit the astronomical cost of shipping separately. I am also on the fence about rebuilding the calipers as they look to be in good condition. If I do disconnect the brake lines to replace the hoses or rebuild, any techniques for evacuating the fluid and thoughts about best brake fluid to use is appreciated. thanks, Tim -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I was planning to meet at the Sheetz, however that store has been torn down and is being replaced by a new building. I have noticed that most participants show up alone and as a result navigators are sparse. With that in mind, the run will be mostly on state routes and the directions will be few and easy to follow. The first group of cars will depart at 10am. Columbiana county is not flat like most of Ohio. Many roads offer a chance to enjoy a spirited drive in a vintage sports car. As of this time I have not planned the course. There are 2 possible places for lunch, The Spread Eagle Tavern in Hanoverton or the Guilford Lake Grill. I will send a club wide email with the finalized details prior to the run. I hope to see you on August 17. I've purchased everything I should need for the project, including a 10" Edco floor grinder, so I can show you the machinery you'll need, what coatings I'm using, how to test the hardness of your concrete, etc. I've got 675 square feet to coat. The DIY cost for a commercial grade Polyurea (what I'm using...) is about $1300. So it's about $2 per square foot for the coating. Depending on what machines you have to buy / rent, you'll probably have another $500 into rentals and incidentals. I'm in Upper St Clair, near the USPS. Need to finish a few upholstery items and the carpet. But, I'm ready to test drive it. My seats are being covered and may not have them for a few weeks. I was wondering if anyone has a set or two that I could borrow just to get this on the road. The old ammo box I am using to sit in the car will not do for driving. Appreciate anything you may have available, and will not need it very long. Thx Vic Panza -- *Vic PanzaCell: 412-956-2852* -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... It?s free to attend for us. We just need to notify Dan that you?re coming. Details are below. It might be a nice day for you and the Mrs. ? Thanks, Clay I would like to extend a special invitation to you and the members of the WPTA to join the PVGP for the Family House Polo Matches on Saturday September 7 at Hartwood Acres from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. This is a fabulous event that is an ideal way to wrap up from the PVGP and relax with all the people that helped make it happen. The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is staging a Car Show on the polo field from 11:00 until noon for our guests who bring a special car. We can?t think of a better group to represent the PVGP than the WPTA. After the car show ends at noon, we will convene at our tent to watch the matches and the PVGP will have a picnic lunch and soft drinks. Please join us and bring your own favorite adult beverages. Your entry is free if you RSVP to me, and we put you on our guest list. Enter at the lower gate on Middle Road (that gate that is closest to Harts Run Road) before 11:00 am if you plan to participate in the car show. The PVGP has partnered with Family House for 25 years. Both our organizations began in 1983, Family House Polo has grown into one of the most anticipated events in the region. Last year, the outing drew nearly 3,000 spectators. *Timeline of Events* 10:00 a.m. ? Gates Open 11:00 a.m. ? Activities Begin - PVGP Car Show on field 1:00 p.m. ?
