[WPTA] How Fast is Too Fast?

I have to say I agree. Club liability is at risk if an unfortunate event should occur being as how it's a club sponsered event. I used to like driving fast but I don't trust myself as much as I once did. I really don't trust oncoming traffic at all. Too much to lose.

Too fast on an official WPTA event is anything over the posted speed limit. Period.

As the “unofficial” Risk Manager of the WPTA (and leader of the Wolfpack), we have had a pristine record over the past 23 years that I have been involved with the Club.
So, my question of the day is: How Fast is Too Fast?
Let’s remember that although I do drive at a “brisk pace”, I know when it’s too fast for conditions.
It was recently brought to my attention of WPTA vehicles reaching speeds of 81 miles per hour on a recent back roads tour. Remember that a lot of these roads are 2 lane sweepers and blind bends. Shear disaster can always be waiting around the next corner.
So, here’s the story of the day: “When my son received his driver's license, I had a conversation involving thinking with the big head and not the little head”.
So, let’s try to drive Responsibly!
