So, my question of the day is: How Fast is Too Fast? Let?s remember that although I do drive at a ?brisk pace?, I know when it?s too fast for conditions. It was recently brought to my attention of WPTA vehicles reaching speeds of 81 miles per hour on a recent back roads tour. Remember that a lot of these roads are 2 lane sweepers and blind bends. The idea is that we'll pretty much be done with our meeting, by the time the DJ gets cranked up. Of course, Jillian and Jeff have also told us that they won't accept reservations for another large group on the same night as our event, so that should help and we should be able to keep the divider closed. Owned approx 40 years but driven very little and recently has been sitting for the last year. Daughters want to sell it for Mom and Dad to make room for everyday cars in the garage. I looked at the car very briefly tonight and it's a nice car, well restored a number of years ago but garage kept under cover. I'm told there is a hardtop (do not know if it's an original or aftermarket hardtop) as it's stored away in the garage attic. It can be purchased for $15,000 and in my opinion it's worth it, especially if the hardtop is original. Runs on starting fluid I'm told but did not hear it run. I can next week but not before, my schedule is not open until Monday or Tuesday. If someone offers $15,000 tomorrow during the garage sale it will be sold but the sale is not widely advertised locally. If you are at Jims on Sunday, I'll be there too, and I can tell you more. I've agreed to help them sell the car if it does not sell tomorrow. (I only heard about it today. Nice family with Pittsburgh connections to Bethel Park and kids I knew back in the 60's; small world.
