[WPTA] TR6 valve adjustment and compression

Here’s a question for the Triumph experts as I’m not an engine guy…
Adjusted the valves in my 76 TR6. Prior to adjustment they were all over the place ranging from .008 to .012 or a little more. Now all are at spec of .01 and have run through a few times to confirm.
Prior to adjustment cold compression ranged from 105 to 115 averaging around 110. After adjustment two cylinders are a little over 115 with remaining around 120.
My question is…can setting valves to spec result in better compression?
