That?s great, Barry!  Some of us stay both Wednesday and Thursday nights, at the Ramada and some just stay Wednesday night.  We seem to be getting more folks staying both nights, the past year or two, which is great fun.

Here?s a question for the Triumph experts as I?m not an engine guy?
Adjusted the valves in my 76 TR6. Prior to adjustment they were all over the place ranging from .008 to .012 or a little more. Now all are at spec of .01 and have run through a few times to confirm.
Prior to adjustment cold compression ranged from 105 to 115 averaging around 110. After adjustment two cylinders are a little over 115 with remaining around 120.
My question is?can setting valves to spec result in better compression?

First - you must hold the throttle wide open and also the carb pistons open
when taking comp. readings.

Well finally got around to the new radiator I got from TRF.? The top and bottom pipes are a tenth inch smaller than the original and I think the side studs, for the support are metric. Sort of 5/16 x 20 which I think is a m8 something.? ?About ready to take back and go the rebuild route.? Has anyone used aTRF radiator like this?Btw bethel radiator doesn't answer?? ?Thanks before for the radiator shop names.? Can you send them again?? Wanted to add the website 1933grille.com for those who like to do research.    They have a FB page as well.   They got their tap system running about a month ago and have a nice selection except no Stoneys for Bruce.

The Glory Continues - Triumphs at the Jefferson 500

Jefferson 500, Summit Point, West Virginia, site of the 2015 Kcup, we again showed how Triumphs continue to get the job done.


In the Donahue Cup, we saw John Styduhar (WPTA) emerge as the class of the field, taking home the first overall wins of his racing career. Second place in the Cup race belongs to Vic Schuster in the Ambro, then JohnHasty had his hands FULL with a Renault Spec Racer during the feature race but did what he needed to do to complete the podium sweep for Triumph. Styduhar won the feature and the Saturday morning race as well!

Well done John, well deserved and that was a hoot to watch. Everybody was happy to see that Mark Rosenberg got the Peerless back together and is back on track with this uber-rare Triumph powered racer.

I bought one several years back from Harbor Freight, less than $15 at the time. Generic, imported, plastic unit but I have used it hundreds of times over the years for all sorts of things. Highly recommended! Hint, I take the 9V battery out when it goes into the drawer, because otherwise it seems to kill the battery prematurely. Get one!

Ditto on the Harbor Freight gun. Yes take the battery out. I suspect many retailers use the same manufacturer and just brand them uniquely.

Salute to Memorial Day
Sunday, June 4

Start is at 10:00 am at the Sheetz on Mt. Nebo Rd. next to I-79. Driver meeting at 10:30, and cars out immediately. We will visit Sewickley Cemetery and the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, with a small amount of time allotted to pay respect to the servicemen and women buried there. Final stop is lunch at Pizzaz Restaurant on Washington Blvd (US 19), just a few miles from the National Cemetery. We should arrive there around 1:30 or 2:00.
