Greetings Drivers,
Welcome to the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Historics at Pittsburgh
International Race Complex. We hope you will have a safe and enjoyable
weekend. Thank you for your support of our charites.
A few reminders:
• DRIVERS MEETING: A mandatory drivers meeting is scheduled for
Friday morning on the first floor of the Timing and Scoring Tower. Helmet
stickers will be distributed to access track.
7:45 AM Mandatory Drivers Meeting for Ground Pounders/Large Bore, Formula
Ford and Medium Bore
8:15 AM Mandatory Drivers Meeting for Small Bore/FV and Modern Historics
BMW is on track at 8:00 and will schedule their own Driver Meeting
separately
• PITTRACE GATE WAIVER: Everyone attending the event (Racers, Crew,
Guest & Minors), without exception, MUST complete the Pitt Race Speed
Waiver PRIOR to arrival at the facility (Please forward this to anyone that
will be joining you at the event):

• PVGP WAIVERS: Everyone attending the event (Racers, Crew, Guest &
Minors), without exception, MUST complete the PVGP WAIVER. If you have
not already done so, please sign through the following link and forward to
your crew and Paddock guests:

• License and Medical: PVGP race registration via MSR requires that
you submit a valid racing license and evidence of a medical release to
race.
• PARKING & FACILITIES: Gate opens at 6:00 PM Wednesday to 10:00 PM
and open Thursday – Sunday 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM. The garage is not for our
use unless you have rented one. If you have any questions, just ask when
you arrive, everyone is happy to help. Here is the link to PittRace

• Asphalt Paddock Parking: Do not pound stakes or make any holes in
any asphalt surface. Do not paint any asphalt surface. Offenders will be
held liable for all damages and may be ejected. Any fuel spills must be
immediately diluted. If you must temporarily jack a vehicle on asphalt,
you must have metal or wood under the jack and jack stands. NO EXCEPTIONS!
• TRAILER DROP-OFF: Wednesday: 6:00 - 8:00 pm
• TECH: Tech Inspection for PVGP cars near Timing & Scoring
Building.
Please bring your helmet, Hans, logbook and driver completed tech form.
BELTS - PLEASE NOTE: We will be checking dates in belts. If yours are
expired, you will not be permitted to race. No exceptions.
PVGP Tech:
Thursday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Friday 7:15 AM – 4:00 PM
BMW Tech 3:00-8:00 PM - Lower garage near Timing and Scoring Tower
• REGISTRATION: Will be held at the track in the Timing & Scoring
Building (lower level)
Wednesday 6:00 PM-8:00 PM
Thursday 7:00 AM-12:00 PM and 3:00 PM-8:00 PM
Friday 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM– 9:00 AM
• BLEND LINE: The blend line at the exit of pit lane is intended to
provide safety for drivers and racecars on course and entering the racing
surface. Crossing the blend line while on track or when entering the
racecourse will be considered an off‐course excursion subject to penalty.
• FUEL: Is available at the track - Sunoco Race Fuels in the
following formulations: 100 Octane Unleaded; 110 Octane Leaded; 93 Octane
Unleaded. Prices per gallon vary with market conditions. All payment is
“pay at the pump” with a limit of 3 transactions per credit card per day
• FOOD: Limited concessions are available for lunch and dinner at the
track. Complimentary Drivers Reception & Dinner and Helltown Beer Saturday
at 5:30 PM at Conference Center for Drivers, Crew and Volunteers
• HYDRATION: Please bring plenty of water. It gets really hot at
the track; everyone must stay hydrated.
• WORKERS/VOLUNTEERS: Please remember to thank the workers and
volunteers, and especially the corner workers at the end of your sessions.
Some of them have traveled a great distance to be here this weekend so you
can race. A little wave at the end of the session does the trick.
Watch your speed in town and while traveling to the track! Safe travels,
see you at the Track!
