I like the idea of the online contribution. Count me in as making a contribution.

Bob and Toby - great ideas!
We already have something stood up right now to prepare for Online BCD registrations, could make it temporarily live for a set period of time, and donate later.

I probably figure maybe we can make a central donation area (website?)and turn it in. It’s probably not fantastic we didn’t do anything yet for the PVGP as we are large donator every year. I would commit to donating 100 bucks or so.

I don't know what our clubs financial situation is so I don't feel qualified to speak to the club making a donation.I would be will to donate $20 or so to the club to be passed on directly to PVGP. Perhaps, others would be willing to do the same.Lord knows, I would have spent that much or more that weekend.Bob

Hello everyone,
I hope you all are getting time to enjoy your British Cars and take in that the leaves are just beginning to turn for Fall!
As The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix didn’t happen this year, their committee is trying to find ways to continue to raise money for charitiy. Dan and Bob have been reaching out to all of the sub-committees to see if there is something they can do, to which PVGP would support marketing awareness, if necessary.
Here is a web page they are maintaining to keep track of the car clubs’ donations this year: https://www.pvgp.org/car-clubs-raising-funds-for-pvgp-charities/
In lieu of a meeting, I have a few options to get your feedback:
1. Donate nothing.2. Depending on funds, make a small contribution directly from WPTA to PVGP. It could understandably be considerably smaller than years past.3. Hold an event to generate donations.
1 and 2 are easiest/fastest. 3 holds some risks/challenges due to Pandemic/Social distancing restrictions, etc.
CALL TO ACTION: Please let me know your thoughts either by responding to this e-mail or contact me directly.
