Over the years you have either met me in person on the track, teching your
car or my blasts to get you to come to this or that event. 
 So I am asking you all to make a place on your schedule for this year's
VRG/PVGPA Historic Races at BeaveRun.
 It is our 5th anniversary of this part of the whole spectacle that makes up
the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Association's races, shows, diners, etc.
 As most of you know by now not only do we offer some of the best racing
anywhere bar none, but while we are doing this we are raising money for some
people who really need our help. In the past 25 years we have given, not
just raised, but given, over 2.5 million dollars to our charities. 
 And in the 4 years that the Historic racing has been part of this we have
been making our own statement and it is getting louder all the time. We,
with our historic cars put on one hell of an event and our spectators agree.
each year more of them and you come on out to make this an awesome event and
the check we hand over to the charities at the end of all of this reflects
that.
 So come on out. We have something for everyone. Great racing for those that
do that, great spectating for those that enjoy that. We have great track
side parties so all the crew, drivers, workers and everyone else can have a
good time. We have SCCA autocross going on all weekend for those who want to
test themselves but in a different way and bottom line you are helping other
people who need it.
 Those who have come before I expect to see you again and I expect you to
drag all of your friends with you. For those who have never been, let's make
this one hell of a 5th anniversary!
