I've not had very good results w/ Cam 2 purple. So my friend who runs the county airpost near where I work suggested trying AvGas. I was a little reluctant at first, but I love it. And neither he nor I have a problem with my using it, since I'm not running the car on public roads, where the missing road tax would have applied. Last fall it was still under $5.
