My only experience was a few years ago with a camera mounted on my helmet.
It worked really well in showing me where I was looking--right or wrong.
Unfortunately, it wasn't mounted perfectly level. SO, the resulting video is
cockeyed. But, in combination with the video from the roll bar-mounted
camera, it was very educational.

Many new systems have the capability for multiple pencil cameras.  That's
great for aiming at your instruments, the road ahead & wherever else you
want.

Dick, I like the ChaseCam solid state flash based recorders that also tie in
with synchronized data aquisition like Traqmate. Makes it easy and the

 There has also been several discussions on the spec miata site recently. A new little roll bar mounted camera for about $100 seems to be the best deal for quality and price. Uses SD cards. Do a forum search.... specmiata.com

I've run AV gas without a problem for 25 years.

It is 101 low-lead and sells for under $5 at your local airport (if they 
look the other way when you pull on to the tarmac)

Every engine builder has something different to say about formulation, but 
I've never missed a beat.

About 5 years ago, my supplier of Turbo Blue quit carrying the stuff. I've not
had very good results w/ Cam 2 purple. So my friend who runs the county
airpost near where I work suggested trying AvGas. I was a little reluctant at
first, but I love it. And neither he nor I have a problem with my using it,
since I'm not running the car on public roads, where the missing road tax
would have applied. Last fall it was still under $5. I need to look soon.

I've run AV gas without a problem for 25 years.

It is 101 low-lead and sells for under $5 at your local airport (if they
look the other way when you pull on to the tarmac)

Every engine builder has something different to say about formulation, but
I've never missed a beat.
