When I went to Mosport a few years ago, I also had some general lists of some fo the spares boxes which I improved and I copied the warrenty cards from my camera, included on one list the serial number of my generator, the registration of my Honda pitbike and even the license and vacination record copies for our dog. Passports weren't an issue then, but we copied the front pages of our passports too. Today they are both expired and I don't know if they would be required. With all this preparation, we never were asked for anything other than drivers license going into Canada or coming home. When we used to do stage rallies, I can remember one nasty crossing where we had some general spares and tool lists, but they weren't accepted, so we were stopped for a long period detailing the lists until some senior official saw what we were doing and put a stop to it. If you are prepared, you'll breeze right through. At this point the passport issue for land crossings is not fully resolved. With the backlog and delays in issuing passports the deadline is a moving target, it keeps changing and moved back. The last I heard it was now mid summer, but best to check with US immigration. On another note, those planning on a long drive to Mosport should be aware that the following week SVRA is featuring Sprites at Mid-Ohio. You could get two events in, in one trip. regards Bob H. This product is a Fuel octane booster and real castor blend and i know that most will realize that most octane boosters are snake oil but I wanted this product for the heat seeking tendancies of the castor bean oil. These products are made for the carting racers and many are used by motorcyclists but some of these are for other racers as well and since Fuel is not checked in vintage this product for the price is a welcome addition to my race prep. My particular car is an early pushrod engine that turns 10 K and makes power into the mid 9s so since running the fuel additive my head is always clean and no problems with upper end. I can sell the product or any of you can go see it at the website for Blendzall Products and look for Gold label fuel additive and get that incredible smell as well as benifits for $5-6 a bottle. PLEASE NOTE: I have it on very good authority that these badges are nearly indiscernable from original. BUT, they DO NOT INCLUDE FIXING CLIPS of any sort. If you happen to have the proper clips, they will work, but recommended method of attachment is silicone adhesive. I will add a link to order on SimpleSevens soon, but in my tradition of alerting the 'listers' first on such matters, here's your opportunity to get a jump on your order. The badges will be 60UKP each, whatever the quantity. North American orders are taken ONLY through SimpleSevens! (others contact Redline directly please). SO, EMAIL johnd at simplesevens.org and put 'LOTUS BADGE ORDER' in the Subject Line. Include the quantity you'd like and your shipping address in the body of the email. I will NOT accept orders through my Yahoo email account -- they will get LOST!!! Payment is directly to Redline: International Telephone +44 1883 346515 where they will take your credit card information any time after you send me your order. Orders will be accepted through December 14, 2007. My order will go to Redline on the 15th. Note that I DID NOT KEEP TRACK of previous postings to this list where folks said they wanted badges, so you'll have to email me at SimpleSevens as indicated to get an order in. Delivery is expected sometime in February. More exact dates will be posted as delivery nears. Redline will ship one package to SimpleSevens and I will distribute your orders out to you. Your payment to Redline includes all shipping and handling fees. Your badges will not ship to you if Redline does not confirm with me that you have paid! Any questions? Email johnd at simplesevens.org Now go eat some turkey :-)))) John Donohoe SimpleSevens.org ____________________________________________________________________________________ Get easy, one-click access to your favorites. This gearbox is one which would be compatible with a Lotus Elan, Super Seven, or any other car using an English Ford Cortina based 116E or similar front engine. In particular, I am looking for a first motion shaft and possibly some other parts for my Leeson gearbox. Apparently Leeson is no longer in business. Any thoughts on where I might obtain such parts. I have already tried Dave Bean. Thanks for any help that may be out there. I know there are several companies out there such as Horseless Carriage, Interstate, FedEx/Passport, etc. and I was wondering if anyone has had experience with any of them. Also, I know it is a long shot, but does anyone or any race team have a transporter going from any of the western states to the southeast in the next couple of months who can take another race car (for a fee, of course)? One way transportation is all that is needed. I am trying to get a Royale RP-6 sports race car from Denver to Georgia. I can deliver it to you somewhere along the route if you are coming from California, Arizona, Oregon, etc. and perhaps going to Sebring or another southeastern venue. Thank you.
