While it was out anyway I decided to have John Esposito at Quantum Mechanics take a look at it. When he turned the input he told me that there was no preload at all. I had him rebuild the diff and I found out there was internal wear and a spun bearing. At that point the ring and pinion were still in good shape. John said he is having difficulty obtaining good replacement ring and pinion sets. The other should move in the opposite direction. Listen fur grinding/chrunching noises. Drain the oil, remove the cover, looking for metal chunks. for $5k but that's out of my price range. does anyone offer an exchange? i'm not doing anything radical nor will i race it but we are enhancing the performance whereever we can.<u></u><u></u></span></p>
