<div dir="ltr">If you have Dan Masters book on Triumph electrical maintenance check the section on turn signals and hazard circuits.<div>Also the 72 circuit is different from any other. They all are very dependent on good grounds . Especially on the rear TR6</div><div>bulbs that don't ground very well. They also depend on the correct wattage of the bulbs especially the indicator bulb in the</div><div>speedometer. They all allow the flasher to work correctly and at the correct speed. It is the load on the flasher that gets it to </div><div>work correctly. A missing ground at the rear will cause the other side to light when not wanted. I will try incandescents, but I'm not sure why i need "ballasts." The flasher unit, and all bulbs are LED. And, btw, the trafficator bulb in the speedo has not worked for years, even when the blinkers worked properly

Do you have ballast in the turn signal circuit? Right and left sides are connected by the indictor light in the speedo. If not enough resistance in the circuit, current will bleed through to the other side causing odd combinations of lighting. Either get
ballasts or as a test, replace the front Leds with incandescent. They will provide enough resistance to correct for the cross-bleed. In mine I just have Leds in the rear, so it works for me.</div>
