The stock switch isn't up to handling the load, especially when using high beams. My old (original) switch got so hot that the plastic housing melted and the contacts would separate causing the lights to go off.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">You can buy the whole kit from Moss (p/n 117-515) for $35. So if TRF had used Headlamp Beam switch or just Headlamp dipswitch, and similarly Instrument Rheostat for panel lights, a deal of confusion could have been avoided.
