No rubbing up front and some minor rubbing at the top inside rear fender wells on the custom roll bar that is welded to the frame. I added a 7/8” front sway bars and adjustable rear level arm shocks which I run stiffer than stock which eliminated the rubbing issues. With that suspension and those tires, it handles really well and very level.<div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">This photo was before the roll bar was installed, taken on the Motherlode Rally with my son behind the wheel, and shows the sway bar and the width of the tires. So most people go with 165 x 80 x 15, the only problem being that it is difficult if not impossible to fit an inflated tire this size in the spare tire compartment of a TR3.<br class=""><br class="">On one of my TR3s I have 195 x 65 x 15 tires on 6" wheels and they fit the car fine.
