<div> <font size="3">Do you have the solenoid valve connected to the bottom port on the canister?  Do the two small hoses connect to that valve?  That is your anti-run-on device that starves the engine for gas when you switch off.  The canister is an integral part of that and will not work without it.  Since your car has aluminium (aluminum) heads you may not have issues with dieseling at shut-off.  The TR6 cast iron heads sure do - especially when you bump up the compression ratio like I did.  <br>
