 wide.  I believe this style of Weber was developed to give cars the economy of a single choke carb under normal driving conditions, with the ability to greatly increase mixture flow to the engine when additional power was needed. As such, I would think that
 it would be difficult to synchronize a pair of them. But, as I said up front, I know very little about Weber carbs...<br>
