So I started the car this AM.  No problems, cranked fast and normal.  Ammeter showed to + a little ways, went down quickly to neutral.  Raised RPMs to about 1400 voltage across battery 14.06.</div>

I am going to go with Gremlin.  Keeping my voltmeter in car, in case.</div>
