It was common practice to move the spring spacer from the passenger side to the driver side. The spacers are simply very short lengths of spring material. I believe this was done at the dealership once a customer brought up the issue of the car not sitting flat. Kas mentioned this to me. TR 2 and 3 as well. Of course, an IRS car would need a different type of spacer. I've seen this on a few sets of TR3 springs. One was from my race car that was originally sold from Cal Sales where Kas worked. </div><div id="AppleMailSignature">Dave H.<br><br>Sent from my iPad</div><div><br>On Sep 11, 2019, at 8:11 AM, Rich White <<a href="mailto:rlwhitetr3b@hotmail.com">rlwhitetr3b@hotmail.com</a>> wrote:<br><br></div><blockquote type="cite"><div>

<b>Subject:</b> [TR] TR4A - Rear Suspension Update</font>

<div class="" style="word-wrap:break-word; line-break:after-white-space">All,
<div class=""><br class="">
</div>
<div class="">For all those following along at home, I installed the rebuilt “heavy duty” Apple Hydraulics lever shocks on Saturday, with new shock links, being careful to not torque everything down until the suspicion was properly “loaded". From the advice
you all provided, I kept the road springs I had.</div>
<div class=""><br class="">
</div>
<div class="">Although I did not take them somewhere to learn what their strengths were, I did measure their heights as:</div>
<div class=""><br class="">
</div>
<div class="">11 7/16”</div>
<div class="">11 9/16”</div>
<div class=""><br class="">
</div>
<div class="">So they are within 1/8” of being the same height, and the ride height looks great.</div>
<div class="">Driving test was MUCH improved, so I’ll keep the springs for now.</div>
<div class=""><br class="">
</div>
<div class="">Thank you to everyone who offered input.</div>
