Ten years ago, the same day was in Omaha with Bill Dentinger with the better part of 65 chocolate cupcakes and lots of Triumphs. This year was with a millionaire friend from childhood who generously put his entire classic car collection at my disposal to drive and enjoy for the day. Hence I got behind the wheels of a Rolls Royce 20/25, a replica Jaguar SS100, an adorable 1947 MG TC just out of a five year rebuild, a Jaguar XK120 Roadster, an Aston Martin DB5 and finally a Triumph 2000 ex works rally car. Certainly the fastest Triumph I have ever driven. It was a gloriously sunny day, the countryside near my home never looked better and at the end of it all, what better meal than British fish and chips wrapped in newspaper and eaten in the back seat of the Royce!!!
