As others have all said, they all leak. Albert at TRF said they would probably stop carrying them because they haven't been able to find a supplier who can produce them reliably. I tried lapping mine with toothpaste (read it somewhere). I took it apart and
gooped up the mating tapered parts, them together and rotated the heck out of it. I did this several times, but in the end, I couldn't get it to completely seal. Maybe I should have tried several levels of grit (coarser to finer). In the end, I ended up putting
in a modern drain valve.</div>
