<div dir="ltr">I put an Audiovox cruise control that looks like the one at the link you <br clear="none">provided in my TR6 and it only works up to about 45 mph. The problem is <br clear="none">that the unit is too weak to directly pull the throttle linkage. I made <br clear="none">a lever for it, but the cable linkage doesn't have the range to open the <br clear="none">throttle enough. A possible option is to put a much weaker throttle <br clear="none">return spring in place of the stock one, but I don't consider that safe.<br clear="none"><br clear="none">Electrically connecting the Audiovox unit was very easy. If I recall <br clear="none">correctly, it just had power, a connection to the brake pedal, and a <br clear="none">connection to the coil to monitor the RPM. For the power and brake <br clear="none">pedal, I think I just a double bullet connectors for a quad bullet <br clear="none">connectors in the dash/pedal area. For the coil tach connection, I used <br clear="none">a piggy back spade connector. I put the controller in an existing hole <br clear="none">in the dash support under the radio. It is all removable without <br clear="none">damage. If I remember right, pressing the clutch causes the RPM to <br clear="none">change, disengaging the unit.<br clear="none"><br clear="none">If anyone made this unit work, please reply to the list as I'm <br clear="none">interested.
