But these studs have already been helicoiled and I think the original stud circle was not well done at the factory and they are not perfectly centered so some have negligible wall remaining around some of the circumference of the helicoil. </div><div id="AppleMailSignature"><br></div><div id="AppleMailSignature">I may be able to get the holes all welded up, but maybe not. And then re-drilling MIGHT be a problem because the original aluminum is the softest alloy I have ever seen.
