As long as all four are equally tight/torqued you’re OK. Quite possibly that stud is longer or just not threaded as far into the head. <br>

It doesn't really bother me, but I've noticed something odd about my engine; Of course there are four 9/16" nuts holding the rocker arm to the head. Initially all 4 nuts were tight, however, nut #4 (rear nut) was two or three threads higher on it's stud. It's okay that it's higher, right? In time, I intend on finding the torque value for all four nuts. Is this listed in the workshop manual?<br>
