<style></style></head><body>Typically a higher pressure allows for a higher temp before boil over. Not a problem, if all the other components in the system can handle it which most modern parts can. I've been using a 16 lb cap for years in my 40 Ford with an aluminum radiator for many years without a problem.<br>

Well, I got the aluminum radiator from Ron Davis Racing - it looks beautiful! however, he is recommending a 16-19 pound cap. Early TR6 uses 7 pound cap, later uses 14 pound cap. Anyone know why I should use a heavier than stock? I have not talked to Ron yet, looking for a little background knowledge.
