I have made several of these. Made them for TR3 and Austin Healey 3000. The tube is available from MSC Direct and is part number 75801373. This is a 3/8 dia. X .028 wall thickness in 304 stainless steel. Comes in a 6ft length for $17.11

You need one to copy for length and to get the baskets that center it in the outer steering column. Just cut to length and put a slot in one end to engage with the control head.

Subject: [TR] TR3A Stator tube

Historically, the stator tubes from the steering control head to the end
of the steering box have been unobtainable. The Roadster Factory lists
them as "Not yet available" and when questioned, they didn't know when
they'd be available. Anyone out there have a source?
TIA
