Not sure about the 62 4 but my 63 4, the carpet is not glued on
the shelf behind the seats. There should be 4 lif-o-dot posts
there so the rear panel can be lifted to cover the hood sticks.
The rear panel should have the 4 lift-o-dot females already
installed. I guess you can glue jute to the shelf, but I glued
carpet under lament on the carpet. <br>
The left and right side panels in the rear compartment are also
secured by lift-o-dots.<br>

The whole assembly acts as a hood stick cover when the top is
down.<br>

Jute for my '62 TR4. I get to put it under the seat area. Did
so much really go on the shelf behind the seats? There is a
little brush of glue under the carpet on the differential
bulge. Seems like the carpet was just glued there. don't
think there is any residual jute under the lift the dot studs.
