<p>As mentioned on the list, mine were removed via the "hot tank"
method. That dissolves anything aluminum.</p>
<p>I threaded them to NPT and used steel plugs afterwards. Maybe
1/2" NPT? It's mentioned on the "uncle jack's engine building
tips" but the tap diameter isn't in the text.</p>
