As part of my ongoing complete brake rebuilding process I found that the fuel pump (original style) is leaking so I am rebuilding it also. When putting the pump back together I found that the gasket for the bolt that holds the top cover
on is too small for the bolt. I tried to get it on the bolt but ruined it in the process. It appears that this item is not available separately. Does anyone have a suggestion of what I can use in place of this washer to seal around this bolt? Also, should
any type of sealer be used between the two pump halves and the diaphragm assembly?
