<p>You apparently bought an early commission TR4, the early ones used a prop rod similar to the TR3 instead of the telescoping version.</p>

The TR4 I just bought has a trunk support rod, not the telescoping unit I would have expected. Anyone seen this before or is it just a case of some rather nice fabricating by a previous owner?</p>
