<font color='black' size='2' face='arial'>Jonas, I haven't done this in a while, but I believe that the specs mean that the cam should just begin to open @ 58 deg. and closed @ 18deg. Both measurements taken at 0.050" open. I'm sure others will chime in and correct me if I'm rusty on this.

<div class="aolmail_MsoNormal">I’m having some issues degreeing the camshaft on my TR6 rebuild project.</div>

<div class="aolmail_MsoNormal">It’s a stock replacement cam, Exhaust is supposed to be open at 58 degrees BBDC and closed at 18 Degrees ATDC.</div>

<div class="aolmail_MsoNormal">So, I’ve got it fully open (maximum lift) at 58 degrees, but the valve closes (0 lift) at 55 degrees BTDC. </div>
