<DIV>If you are in the states use 93 at the pump with the ethanol and Bob’s your
uncle. My 4A is modified compression, cam and 87mm liners and runs well on 93. I
didn’t use any lead additive for years prior to having hardened exhaust valve
seats installed a few years ago. Yes #4 exhaust valve had some minor recession
into the head keeping in mind that #4 is the hardest to keep cool. I easily had
70,000 miles on that head before doing the valve job and at least 50,000 of
those miles were with lead free fuel.</DIV>

<DIV dir=ltr>I have a new to me 65 TR4A and it states to use 97 octane fuel.
Does everyone add octane booster? I have 87 octane available with no
ethanol would this be good enough. I also will add lead additive.
<DIV>Another problem is I have the two fuse box with red wires to one fuse and
green to the other fuse. The fuse with the red wires to it has no power. What
does this run? Everything seems to be running on the car. Thanks,
Bob</DIV></DIV>
