Put the pump back on the engine & the pump didn't pump. The pump went on square and easily with no fit problems. Removed, replaced 5 or 6 times still no pumping.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Adobe Garamond','serif';" data-mce-style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Adobe Garamond','serif';">Priming leaver works fine, lever inside the engine works fine when the pump is removed, CAM on CAM shaft appears to be OK. The only thing I can think of is that the lever is going to the side of the CAM, but it looks square to the pump's mounting service. There are 2 springs that centre the inside lever, and one feels a little weaker than the other but the lever appears centered on the shaft.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Adobe Garamond','serif';" data-mce-style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Adobe Garamond','serif';">I've R&Red pumps half a dozen times previously and never had this problem. One in the metal body, one in a black plastic body. I know the one in the black plastic body is really noisy. Any idea if the one in the metal body is any quieter?
