FWIW, I use Synpower GL5 in both steering box and differential. My reasoning is that the MT90 is specifically designed to give more friction (for improved synchronizer operation); but I want the slickest stuff possible in the steering and diff.  <br>
Synchronizers need friction to work; but friction is not your friend in the steering box. Or diff.<br>
