has to be redundant so the crimps are double, that is, they crimp the wire but also crimp the jacket making them almost impossible to pull apart. The tool costs the same as an automotive one and the bullets are slightly more expensive. You can google aviation
crimps to get more info.<u></u><u></u></span></p>

He believes the crimp tool makes better connections than solder, as consistency is paramount and the art of soldering 60 year old wire ain't easy! On the bench is one thing, under the dash is another! The "proper" crimp tool for bullet connectors is pricy,
but after you see it in action and the job it does, you will be a believer as well.<br>

Bruce, if you maintain a TR2-TR6, the bullet connector crimp tool is very good to have. If Bruces Triumph Parts is going to continue it's focus on Wedges, you don't really need to own one.<br>
<br>
I have the tool, and you are welcome to borrow it. Of course, by the time you drive down here to borrow/return it, the $50 that the tool costs will seem cheap! Of course, we could always do the mail, but what fun is that!<br>
