The 75W is a "winter" rating, which indicates oil performance below freezing. The second number indicates hot performance.<br>

Personally, I'm a big fan of Redline MT-90. It's a full synthetic GL4 (so no worries about attacking "yellow metal") and is specifically designed to improve synchro operation. I have it in both Stags (with J types), plus my TR3 (with A type).<br>
