<p>many had little springs on the arm as the stiction of the clip
holding the arm on the rod was not enough to rotate the paw back
to catch the next tooth</p>
<p>in the above linked photo you can see a loop half way down the
arm for such a spring even though non was installed.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Does anyone have any closeup photos showing
the odometer drive index mechanism for a Jaeger Speedometer
out of a TR4A? I am talking about the little arm that is
driven by the red gear. I took my speedometer apart to repair
the trip odometer, now that works but the odometer doesn’t. I
took pictures of everything else but not that..<o:p></o:p></p>
