Remains perfectly intact. Oddly, it seems to work better if one simply wire brushes the surface since it's meant to stick to rust. Maybe sandblasting is doing too good a job?<br><br><br>Then I poured used motor oil inside, flipped the frame every which way to coat the interior, and seem to have had success stopping any malignant corrosion in there. I sertainly wouldn't mind skipping the $300 cost of media<br>blasting, if a thorough cleaning by wire, etc. would be sufficient. It's<br>getting at all those "nooks and crannies" of the front suspension and shock<br>tower areas that concerns me (even with media blasting).<br><br>"Flipping the frame over every which way" sounds interesting. That's a bit<br>of a task for a 200 lb frame, though.... I have now effected repairs and hope never to have to do all that<br>again. No doubt, interior coating would be a great help as many folks have<br>already told me they've done.
