<div> <font size="4">This is a recipe for setting the top too tight to erect on a cool day - when you really need to. This is one of my pet peeves. Folks say you must wait for a warm, sunny day to put the top up. I say no, you need to be able to put it up when you NEED to put it up, such as when you are on a fall color tour drive and the clouds roll in and it starts to rain. I had a top installed one spring (cool weather) and it fit just fine and it went up regardless of the weather.<br>

I am not an expert either, but used the information on the buckeye site and VTR <a removedlink__eb7a977e-7590-44ee-a6d5-b5957a3aa99f__href="http://vintagetriumphregister.org/maintenance/" target="_blank">http://vintagetriumphregister.org/maintenance/</a> (scroll down) to fit my TR250 top and it turned out fine. I actually like the VTR site better for this particular how to. Basic instructions, do it on a warm sunny day, in the sun, find the side to side center of the top, start from that center in the back and work forward. sidewalk chalk is your freind.<br>

I think the main difference between the 4a and 250/6 top is the velcro seals on the sides, otherwise pretty similar.<br>

I am less sure on how to handle the the front. Based on the old top, the front flap is is folded over the one piece steel channel seal and riveted to the header.
