I am told, though I have no experience, that drilling a small hole at<br>
the end of the crack will relieve the stress and stop it from growing.<br>
That's a starting place to search for more info, or, if you have<br>
nothing more to lose...<br>

You would want to use one of the invisible repair kits to seal it once<br>
you drill the hole.<br>
