I'm thinking maybe I'll put my car outside on a hot sunny day in June with the 4 year old "shrunk" black Sunfast roof in "up" position with weights hanging from the sides of the material to try to stretch it wider. Then maybe I can re attach the Velcro to the side rails. Over the years it will get slightly harder to stretch up, but not <enough to really speak of.
