as I recall when I had a lot of difficulty fitting them I was using the springs
that came with the door handle kit from the roadster factory. I think the
next time I had to do it I reused my old springs that had lost a little tension
after nearly fifty years (!!) and that made it much easier to
install.</FONT></DIV>
