<div><font face="Calibri" size="2"><span style="font-size:11pt;">Hylomar is a good suggestion, but on threaded plugs I use Permatex 2B, non-hardening. Put a little bead around the base of the plug and screw it in – no leaks. I have used it on drain plugs,
O-rings, etc. Of course this assumes there is no real severe distortion or other problem.</span></font></div>
