in the correct manner for a Girling slave. The workshop manual photo is of

<DIV>I was under the car trying to get the pushrod right when I realized that
from an engineering standpoint it was done completely wrong – no one would
design it so the bolts took the stress; you would design it so it pushed
against the bracket. then I checked the manual and found this
