<DIV>...can't say I ever remember any car with a combo of right and left handed
threaded studs.<BR>Wire wheels now that's a different story. <BR><BR>There is no
rotation force on a lug nut that should be anything close to the frictional
force of rim to lug.<BR>So the idea of the threads AND nut spinning in one
direction or the other should mean little if anything.<BR>Now on wire wheels
where rotational forces ARE acting directly against the 'nut' to wheel
interface, yes they are handed. <BR></DIV>
