chrysler/dodge run of the mill ugly car.  they had a flat, and since I was 
a teenager on a bicycle, and I knew them, I stopped to help.</div>

they were reversed.  they were.  only time I ever ran into that.</div>

<div>...can't say I ever remember any car with a combo of right and left handed 
threaded studs.<br>Wire wheels now that's a different story. <br><br>There is no 
rotation force on a lug nut that should be anything close to the frictional 
force of rim to lug.<br>So the idea of the threads AND nut spinning in one 
direction or the other should mean little if anything.<br>Now on wire wheels 
where rotational forces ARE acting directly against the 'nut' to wheel 
interface, yes they are handed. <br></div>
