[TR] Anyone know this Spitfire?

I sold my TR3 for $19K.  I had more in the restoration and that doesn't even count buying the car.
You either have to be very clever buying or slipshod in restoring to make money this way.

That's very likely the case.  I can safely say I've got more than double in my current TR6 restoration than I could sell it for.

Or, that's how much they have in the restoration.

That is a high price for a Spit.  Nice ones have gone for a lot less on Bring a Trailer.  For example: https://tinyurl.com/4rke2a36

I agree, it seems to be a good looking spit.  I did receive a bunch of pictures, but there were none of the frame or engine so I'm going to request more pictures and see what happens.  It does seem like it's on the high end price wise so more pictures would certainly help.

Surprised no engine pics.
Lotta $$ for a Spit, but if you want it bad enough...
A fresh dash and a wood rimmed steering wheel and good to go!

A friend of mine's wife is interested in this car in Louisville KY.  Anyone know this car and/or the owners?
Thanks,  Brad
