Thanks for confirming it was never a factory trim color. What's even stranger is Moss lists it for: TR2, TR3, TR3A, TR4 & TR4A.
I've made a lot of kits in it as it is a nice color... Just not a "correct" color.

Don’t know who dreamed up that colour variant. Seems as much a myth as the statement I saw some years ago in a high profile magazine that the factory floors in Coventry were all hard packed earth and no concrete anywhere.
Anyway, according to my cherished Production Control Code Books, Honey Tan never existed, nor was it ever offered as available to special order.
If Moss publications in the States are as inaccurate as the ones they used to offer in the UK, nothing would surprise me that they’re now inventing colours.

The trim codes in the brown/tan family that I can find are: chestnut, tan, light tan, new tan & biscuit.
