I live in north Florida, and the best driving weather is October through June. I normally take care of all my upgrades and maintenance for my 1959 TR3A and 1966 TR4A in July and August since my garage is air conditioned, and the weather is too hot and humid for comfortable driving.
I just purchased a Revington TR steering box top plate adjustment kit for my TR3A. I plan to install it this weekend. I have a couple of friends that have given me great reviews on this upgrade. It is supposed to remove just about all the steering wheel play out of the steering box. Looking at the installment options, it appears that the best way to do it without removing the grill and air deflector, is to remove the driver's side horn and reach in. It will be a tight work space. Alex Levy
