I never met him, but reading the obituary triggered a memory...5 or 6 years
ago, I was on a work trip to Sanford and staying in Kennebunkport. Our
route to and from the hotel took us down a small country road. Imagine my
surprise when I saw a big white house with a big garage that had a big
Triumph sign prominently mounted.
I wanted to stop, but couldn't convince my coworkers to do so (can't blame
them). Still, it was a moment of unexpected extra joy in such a
picturesque landscape. Godspeed, Erick.
