[TR] TR2/3/3a/3b nose

Good question.  I doubt it.  They tend to splay in or out.  They were not designed to be self-supporting.  But if you were to hinge the nose piece it would need to latch onto something so a support member between the two fenders would be needed.
I never gave it much thought and I'm not a coachwork guy so I am not the one to be giving out advice on this.  Everything I say is based on a freshman year mechanical class.
